We aren’t a “themed” bar; we are an authentic Irish pub built by Irish-born owners using authentic stones and building materials imported directly from Ireland. From our hand-crafted countertops to our cozy fireplaces, every inch of the pub is designed to offer a genuine sense of Irish history and “patina”.

Q: Is Molly Malone’s the best place in Louisville to watch soccer?

A: Absolutely. We are the official hub for Louisville City FC (USL) and the premier destination for every English Premier League (EPL) and Champions League match. We take our football seriously, so seriously that we often open as early as 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM for morning kick-offs across the pond.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins or are reservations required for big games?

A: We always welcome walk-ins for a pint at the bar! However, for major events like LouCity matches, high-stakes EPL Saturdays, or St. Paddy’s Day (never “St. Patty’s” here!), we recommend arriving early. For private gatherings, you can book The Shebeen (seats 35) or our heated Upper Deck (up to 100 guests) by contacting event.mollys@gmail.com.

Q: Is Molly Malone’s family-friendly or more of a nightlife spot?

A: We take pride in our “split personality”. During the day and early evening, we are a warm, family-friendly pub serving traditional comfort food like Shepherd’s Pie and Fish & Chips. But when the sun goes down, the energy of Baxter Avenue takes over with DJs and dancing until 4:00 AM every Friday and Saturday night.

Q: What are your best vegan and vegetarian options?

A: We are a leader in dietary-inclusive pub fare! We have a high-growth Vegan Menu featuring our Homemade Veggie Burger ($14.89), Spicy Cauliflower Wings ($11.19), and Roasted Garlic & Jalapeño Hummus. Join us every Thursday for Vegan Happy Hour for the best deals in town.

Q: Where can I watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ matches in Louisville?

A: Right here at the “Soccer Home”. As Louisville’s dedicated soccer pub, we will be the ultimate watch party destination for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. We’ll be showing matches live from the opening kick on June 11 to the Final on July 19. With our authentic Irish atmosphere and multiple screens, there is no better place in the Highlands to cheer on the USMNT or your favorite international squad.

Q: Will you be open for the early morning World Cup matches?

A: Yes! Just as we do for the EPL, we will adjust our hours to ensure fans can catch every live broadcast, including those early international kick-offs. Keep an eye on our social media for specific opening times as the match schedule is finalized.

Q: Do you offer private spaces for World Cup viewing parties?

A: We do! For a more exclusive experience, you can rent The Shebeen for a private “pub within a pub” feel, or The Upper Deck for a high-energy outdoor atmosphere with its own private bar and cornhole. Our catering platters, including Wings and Mini Reubens, are perfect for large groups.
